Remote Paralegal

A Remote Paralegal assists attorneys in the delivery of legal services from a virtual office setting. This role involves a broad range of tasks, including legal research, document preparation, case management, and direct client interactions. Paralegals support the efficiency and effectiveness of legal processes, enabling attorneys to focus on case strategy and client representation.

Key Responsibilities

Legal Research

Conduct legal research using databases and online resources to collect case-relevant information and assist attorneys in preparing cases and developing strategies.

Document Drafting

Prepare a variety of legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, and contracts under the supervision of an attorney.

Case Management

Manage and maintain case files electronically, ensuring all case materials are organized and accessible, with critical deadlines tracked and met.

Client Communication

Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates on case progress, answering queries, and gathering necessary information and documentation from clients.

Trial Preparation

Assist in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, preparing trial notebooks, and coordinating the logistics required for trials.

Administrative Support

Manage admin tasks like scheduling meetings and depositions, arranging travel, and handling attorney calendars.
